“Roundtable Discussion: Cutting Edge Design, IPC Standards, Materials and Processes”

The topic for this meeting will be a roundtable discussion with 3 topics chosen based on feedback from our last survey. 1) Cutting Edge Design techniques 2) IPC Standards 3) Materials and Processes. Our Executive Board will be there to help guide and share their knowledge and experiences. Our Executive Board has gathered over 100 years of experience combined so you will be sure to learn something invaluable. Please join us in these great discussions and bring with you your experiences, ideas, and knowledge on these key topics.

This will be a free evening event and dinner will be served.  Please register below so we can get a head count.


Speaker Biography:


Tim Mullin, Chapter President, Sr. PCB Designer

Tim Mullin has over 40 years experience in PCB design.  He began his career back in 1978 as a draftsman doing mechanical designs and pcb tape-up designs. He migrated over to the CAD/CAM world where he worked for a number of different companies over the years involved with aerospace, defense and medical instruments. His career evolved having worked for a number of EDA companies as an Applications Engineer training and supporting their EDA customers across the globe and as they were gobbled up by other EDA companies he switched back to their key customers providing advanced design and support. He is currently working as a Sr. PCB Designer at Microvision in Redmond, WA

Jerome Larez, DC Chapter Treasurer, Applications Engineer

Jerome Larez has over 20 years of experience in PCB fabrication. He started his career in 1996 as a production technician at Southwest Circuits. He worked in multiple production areas and in 2001 started an engineering support position at Prototron Circuits. In addition to engineering support Jerome worked as an inside salesperson as well as a production planner. He then began working as an outside salesperson for Prototron Circuit in 2015. Jerome is currently an Applications Engineer at MicroConnex Corporation in Snoqualmie, WA for flex circuit board fabrication.
